Load testing of scaffold eyebolts is performed in accordance with the Health and Safety Authority Code of Practice for Access and Working Scaffolds and The Construction Fixings Association NASC Technical Guidance Note 11.
The HAS COP for Access and Working Scaffolds 2008 states that “Anchorage capacity should be established by either proof load testing or by testing to failure a representative sample anchorages.”
